I was very surprised to read this. My wife and I have been using iPhones (currently a 14 Pro and a 17 Air, both running iOS 26.1) without any problems since the 3S was released. For security reasons, I don't think it's a good idea to disable updates.

Switzerland: public transport (not just trains - you can get regular, punctual buses to the most remote places … and not just a couple of times a week). The health service is also very good, albeit expensive (in common with most other things).
