Wouldn't Brexit be very difficult to undo anyway? Every member of the EU would have a veto over readmitting the UK, and some of them may make demands to which the UK might be reluctant to agree! For example, what if Spain demanded that Gibraltar be returned to them?

US meat and dairy producers do crap like this and then complain when other developed countries don't want their products because of inferior US food quality standards!

At this point I doubt anything Putin might have on Trump could be any worse than what we already know about Trump! And if it is, MAGA will just dismiss it as lies anyway!

Russia can't even occupy more than a fraction of Ukraine, so I doubt they pose as much of a threat to Europe as some think!

Ford is desperate to have a provincial election before the federal election! He knows that if there is a federal election first and the Cons win then his chances of also winning are significantly diminished because Ontarians do not like to have the same party in power federally and provincially.

In Canada all citizens 18 years of age and over have the right to vote regardless of any crimes they may have committed. AFAIK there is no circumstance under which a Canadian citizen may be lawfully disenfranchised!

They will declare it unconstitutional and Quebec will keep it with the now infamous "notwithstanding" clause and nothing will change! We really need to get rid of that damned clause!

Trudeau's government is on the verge of collapse and an election sometime in March is expected. Unfortunately the Conservative party is likely to win that election and their leader is more inclined to kiss Trump's ass rather than stand up to him! 😡

The Liberals need to take a page from the Conservatives and create a mechanism by which caucus can force the leader out! The way it is now, even if every Liberal MP wanted Trudeau gone there is no way for them to get rid of him unless he chooses to go!

Considering that Canada Post is the only delivery service available to many rural areas and isolated indigenous communities, one wonders why they are not designated as an essential service that is not permitted to strike!

That's just a red herring - the Baltic states joined NATO and Putin barely batted an eye! He was always going to invade Ukraine because he wanted a land bridge connecting Crimea to Russia, but of course he wouldn't be able to do that if Ukraine joined NATO to protect themselves!
