Democratic leaders need to understand WHY Trump got so many votes, and why so many people chose not to vote. Without understanding this, voters who left the Democratic party won't return, they just won't vote. It's easy to name call those we disagree with but it's not productive.

I teach kindergarten. First of all, I NEVER say "kiddos!" I switch off between writing "children" and "students," and occasionally "kids." I don't think I ever wrote "little ones," even when I taught preschool.

I had my kindergarten class participate in a cookie election today. Chocolate chip won, followed closely by Oreos and then iced oatmeal. It has been interesting to listen to their unprompted discussions about the candidates...
