Ok how beautiful is this stitch? When I first started this stitch it took me about 3 rows to realise that I was doing it wrong haha! So I ended up having to frog it and start again. But once I got started again it got going. This is a bit of a slow stitch for me but it is beautiful, I don't think it's my favourite, just because I feel a bit slow doing it but I like the look of it.

Here we go, I've completed 10 rows. So I'm kind of getting an idea of what this WIP could be... but I'm not 100% on it yet but I'm looking forward to seeing how it's going to come out!

So I decided that with a lot of these squares I can make something. Do I know what the end result will be? No. But I think it could be a fun journey! Here is the start of a new WIP!

For the new Granny Square pattern I decided to try out a Tunisian Crocheted Granny Square. I have been on a bit of a Tunisian Crocheting binge recently but I'm loving it. So, a while ago I saw that Toni, from TL Yarn Crafts had done a video of how to do a Tunisian Crochet Granny Square so I followed the video and here we are, my new granny square pattern:

I've decided to start a new section here; Progress Report Mondays. Here I will update on the weekends progress, hopefully there will be progress to report on! Current WIPs: Sweater Vest - As some of you may know I have been working on the sweater vest for a month or so now. The back panel is complete and I'm so so close to start the split on the front panel.

What I finishedComing Back Cardi: I said this in the dedicated post about my Coming Back Cardi, but it took me ages to finish this. It took me ages because I had run out of the white and I didn't know how to finish it but now I have! Night Shift Delusions: I recently had to work a few night shifts, and to keep myself awake I just started crocheting.

This cardigan was inspired by @cosmiccreations.n.designs I saw their cardigan and fell in love with the idea of a long cardigan, and then I saw Happy Place yarn by Toni at TL Yarns Crafts and knew that I had to use it for this cardigan. I will admit that I did put this project down for a while, because I originally had an idea in my head but then I ran out of the almond colour, so I ended up putting it down for way too long.

Ok I know this is a random blog post, and those who know me know that I'm not the best at colour matching or choosing colours that will go together. But basically want I wanted to get from this post was to be able to go through my process and hear feedback from what other people do. This is definitely a subject that I need to work on and improve on.

I had so much fun creating this top/half sleeve jumper. I think the colours are so bright and when I made it I had really strong feeling that I needed more colour in my winter wardrobe. Sadly the week that I finished this it ended up snowing here so it was way too cold to wear it! But here it is, the pattern to my Fun on Fridays top.
