It takes some getting used to, but it's great for checking seams and making materials

Blender, substance painter or a free alternative, and clip studio paint are what I use personally, but I may have other recommendations depending on the kind of modding you're looking at doing

I feel this so hard
I had to change my way of shading browns from using overlay to soft light, seems to have helped a bit but it still requires a lot of fiddling

I had been thinking about commissioning a piece of art of my fursona holding her, as a sort of memorial. My amazing wife, before I had even mentioned the thought to her, had already reached out to Krys and commissioned this piece. Needless to say I adore it and the gesture of love fills my heart 💙

I also burned myself out a smidge on creating, so I've been letting myself take a break and take things at my own pace, which has greatly reduced my stress. I will get these dragons out eventually, but I need to do so on my own terms.

Unfortunately my production was interrupted by life. One of our bunnies got very sick, and all my attention went to her for a while. She is doing much better, thankfully. Koro and I are incredibly relieved.
