To be fair I’ve struggled with overprotectiveness of my partner in the past. But I’ve definitely never been macho about it. Also I’m not a character in a fictional story.

The question of “What does it mean to be human?” is explored through some of the android characters in O Human Star, but it’s not the primary question. I dare you, oh machine intellect @scifireader.bsky.social, to identify what the primary question/analogy is that the story uses androids to explore.

I really struggled to change my patches on schedule, in part because my body didn’t get used to the sudden changes in e levels. The day after changing them I was exhausted and emotional. What has finally worked is literally cutting patches in half and changing the same dose portion every night.

For sure. Of course online reviews are subject to self-selection bias, but it only takes one experience with a transphobic person to make any particular place feel unsafe.
