The people (me) yearn for healing (a bowl of biscuits and gravy)

Life is hard. Things will get better. Life will take the shape you want. It may not seem like it now, but give it time.

Submitted to several lit mags over the last 24 hours, completed two final portfolios for my classes, and I still need to grade a million essays. The light in my eyes is extinguished

So I've decided to use this space as a vehicle to articulate my chaotic thoughts, but like poetically

I am in a constant state of yearning lately. My container keeps spilling my feelings onto the pavement. I feel both wonder and longing about them, and it is beautiful, yet tragic, to watch my feelings leak into the earth.
