after getting 5 other non-Shuppet shinies trying to reset for one, I finally got fed up enough for the universe to send me one out of pity.
I'll try to go shiny hunting for my favorite Gengar after I recover from this.

this is mostly how I set up my main generic. there's definitely been some special cases where I needed Mana Shield so that's an option.

I built my Estelle to unga bunga.
the demo guided me towards Hard instead of Nightmare, but maybe I could have done Nightmare... oh well. I feel like the game was the hardest nearer to the start when I had none of the tools I have now.
oh on a side note the regular boss music is super catchy
