So here's the thing.
If you want to "save Democracy" and "take the country back" from mega-corporations and push back against fascism, you have to accept one thing:
American Democracy is dead.

March 2017 and now (1.26.2025). 2017 me: still drinking, very angry at the world but didn't want to be honest about it. 2025. Sober since 11.22.17. Still angry... but much more comfortable with it. You might say we became friends.
My preference for plaid and western print shirts is undiminished.

I see people deactivating various social media accounts, which I understand & respect, but I’m done letting Bad Tech Bros™️ chase me out of my community spaces.
Maybe there are no more “good places.” Maybe there are only good people doing their best to navigate—& use for good—problematic spaces.
