This is an ancient oak, Ronsak, displaying full summer green leaves. The surrounding mown grass has yellowed with the recent heat. Behind to the left there are more trees, and to the right, there is golden standing wheat. Below a cloudy grey sky, you can see more cereal fields, almost ready to harvest, and green trees on the hill.

Bumped into this little #hedgehog last night. Hoping they have brought me luck! #folklore
A young hedgehog, walking down a pale grey stony path. On either side of the path, the grass is like yellow straw, due to recent hot and dry conditions. I only noticed the hedgehog on the path - his colouring would make him hard to spot in the grass.

A delightful pink bloom for #RoseWednesday Photo taken last year at David Austin Roses
