Não tanto porque seja uma emulação dos partidos fascistas dos anos 30 do século passado, mas porque a exploração do ressentimento é, à direita como à esquerda, desde tempos imemoriais, uma das mais eficazes armas de mobilização e destruição políticas. Parte de artigo de jornal, onde se lê: Na minha geração, a noção da luta de classes foi muito importante para compreender a realidade. Tende, porém, a desaparecer, em nome de uma atitude de se "estar nas tintas" para o outro e a ser substituída por sentimentos obscuros de pertença identitária a um género ou a uma "raça" . A luta por maior igualdade, melhores condições de vida e de trabalho foi substituída pela exclusão dos mais frágeis. Refiro isto, porque tenho lido desde ontem, à esquerda, pessoas a repetir: "Não culpem o povo" pelo voto no Chega. Isto é dito de forma piedosa, mas sobretudo arrogante, sem se perceber que se está a desresponsabilizar cidadãos portugueses, tão livres como nós, os que não votámos no Chega. Os votantes neste partido são tratados em termos de "coitadinhos" e de "escorraçados da fortuna e do privilégio", do "mundo global". Não percebem o paternalismo dessa expressão? Acham que quem vota Chega não sabe no que vota? Penso que é sobretudo um voto de rejeição dos direitos himanos, nascidos no pós-Segunda Guerra Mundial, e do "outro"?

I absolutely love when the local wildlife comes to chill at my place. I've got plates with water for them outside and plants that the birds like to nibble on. And it seems like part of the next generatiom of local doves will have been conceived on our balcony 🤣

I was finally able to go for a short walk today, to enjoy the nice weather. These Ash trees and colourful flowers kept me company while I rested from the heat and did some grounding. The blackbird was singing and the swallows were flying above. What a gorgeous day! #WitchyWalks

Like wands, our channelling sticks move across Pages, analogic and digital alike. I love this image and would like to find the artist who drew this. I've tried reverse image search, pinterest, etc... and all I get are shops using this picture to sell their products without crediting the original artist.

That's enough doom watching/scrolling for me. I'll be cleansing my eyes with Aasif Mandvi's book "No Land's Man", which is (un)suprisingly well written. Funny, smart, handsome, good actor and now also a great writer: is there nothing this guy can't pull off?

Beautiful,well crafted and so hard to put it down! Would have read it in one sitting if I could. I'd have given it 5 stars but some things weren't explained well at the end. BUT I'm hoping the author will fix this and look forward to reading the final version after publication.
