Thank you! This was a pretty long time ago when AI and the ethics and morality was being discussed. Maybe Bobby's stance just flipped during the 2 year period.

To me one of the problems is not how to find now but also how to store all the information that the providers come across.

Hmm I am not informed about EU law currently, but I do remember Meta stating that they are hesitant to start federating due to data privacy protection policies. All this is very new because of the distributed/federated model. Hopefully someday we can figure this out with politicians.

Yeah it's an issue that Mastodon is currently working on and VERY excited for. Idk how it's going to work but maybe in a DNS system work to transverse different servers. Honestly idk thou and it is speculation at this point.
