I'm willing to pay a Philosophy student (major) or professor for one hour of chatting a week. I want to cover nihilism and existentialism/absurdism, and I need some guidance. If you know anyone who'd be interested, please connect the two of us! 🙏

I gave Cursor a try for a month.

Sure, I shipped fast, but I also felt like I was getting dumber, lazier, and realized I knew way less about my own codebase than I thought.

Back to manual coding, at least for now.

I read “Metamorphosis” by Kafka twice: once at 15 for school and again now at 30.

How the hell is a 15yo supposed to understand this book??

It's a hard pill to swallow: there's no 10x engineer. We're all just too used to mediocre engineers we call "senior" because of their time spent at work rather than output quality.

When we finally meet a real senior engineer, we think they're a 10x eng.

They're "just" actual senior engineers.
