How can you look at that Van Dijk header & the flight of the ball to say, yeah Robertson is blocking Donnarumma’s line of sight.

I just don’t get it.

I was skeptical of the Kerkez signing & him being a LB for us. But my god, did not expect it to be this bad.

He always looks lost when defending in the box & is a tad too late to react. Ok top of that, he’s also very rash.

The players not being at their best is one thing because something as basic as simple passing has been horrendous.

But, Slot not having figured out the weaknesses & tweaking when it is obvious is so worrying.

Today @suhailpatel.bsky.social told me something I still think about when we talked about measuring the efficiency of AI tools for devs:

“Always applying critical thinking when using AI tools will be the difference between devs who do well with AI and devs who don’t”

Resisting “autopilot!”

Also think these last 2 performances from Szoboszlai is in his Top 5-7 performances as a Liverpool player.

Did a fantastic job against Martinelli today defensively & even without the goal, he was surely my MOTM.
That second half performance was pretty good. Not the best but good enough to win the game.

I fully believe Arsenal could’ve got something in the 1st half if they’d stepped up but I’m not complaining.

Bringing in Jones was a game-changer. Int’l break now & hopefully we pick up further from here.

The passing has been really poor today.

I don’t think I’ve seen a Bournemouth game under Iraola where they’ve not been entertaining - even when they’ve been well beaten.

This first half has been sensational.

The referee announcing to the crowd that it was a careless challenge from Muniz just makes that decision far worse than it actually is.

How is that careless when all Muniz does is turn in the ball?

Not only this but Mikautadze gets his shots off pretty well & in great areas too. I’m a big fan & think he’ll do great.
According to reports in France, Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Lyon to sign forward Georges Mikautadze.

Here is how he compares to Ollie Watkins 👀

Mikautadze can also play on the left and also as a second striker too.

Versatile ✅

It is tough work but boy do I love defending & getting good blocks in. Feel better than scoring.

Think first: every time someone writes "completed 100% of their tackles (2/2) 💪" a random R session crashes on an analyst's laptop

Loads of similar issues in the first 3 games out of possession but it also doesn’t help when your team drop performances like that.

Szoboszlai & Virgil were certainly the big boys there today.

I find Fulham to be a very interesting team. Mediocre squad for the Premier League with a poor quality in terms of squad depth.

However, you have a manager who knows to get the best out of what he has & a few players who can turn it on sometimes.

A comfortable mid-table team but Silva is cool.

Spurs look really good. Thomas the tank engine Frank.

PSG’s players have done well all season with club & country, but there's a caveat - they’re playing in Ligue 1, where they have an enormous advantage over everyone else in terms of money & squad. For eg, this league season:

Vitinha had 20 starts (2K mins), Neves had 22 starts (1.85K mins), (contd.)

Wissa’s on 15 non-penalty goals this season in the league now. Mbuemo has 16 including penalties (5).

31 goals between the two is genuinely remarkable. (26 npG)

Only duo with more non-penalty goals in the league are Salah & Diaz (28).
