Had an incredible time at #PAXAus this past weekend!
My absolute favourite part of PAX each year is constantly running into people I know. Including catching up with old friends, and making new ones! And it was no different this year.

Anyway, throwback to when I was interviewed on the news in Perth and took the chance to rep LFC hehe.
It was over Zoom as I had already moved to Melbourne at that point.

My favourite band is touring Japan whilst I'm in Japan, but not in the cities I'm in, at the right time :(
I literally arrive in Fukuoka on the 17th! And I'm in Nagoya on the 30th! And then there's no way I can make it to the other tour stops. Hope they announce more dates but seems unlikely. Sigh.

Oh, whilst I remember! The plaque for Jupiter was on the wrong side of the plinth!
This is meant to be on the adjacent side because of the direction of the arrows to the previous and next planets along the trail. The arrow for Mars points to the sea!
All the other ones were fine.

Here's Earth and the moon. I'm slightly disappointed that they didn't put any outlines of the landmasses on the orb, even though it's small. I feel like they still could have!

Jupiter seemed to be the only one they put real effort into the actual orb, and Saturn was the only one that was vandalised (somewhat surprisingly).

Decided to go on the solar system trail/walk in Melbourne today!
First heard about it thanks to a @lateralcast.com question asked by @briamgilbert.bsky.social (ep 63 for those curious)
It took a couple hours to walk the whole thing 🙂
