Many residents in the Creeks, Wascana View, SkyView and probably elsewhere were just handed a 30 and higher percent increase.

Since we are talking about transportation plans from the 80s, I'm pretty sure the road network plans for Cathedral included cutting off 13th from Lewvan and possibly removing north-south access from Sask Drive. Is that going to happen too? 🤪

I wish the Ward 4 meeting was recorded. Only opinion for it was his.

Yes yes yes
Lawyers at the Ward 4 meeting said they will never get consent and they can not legally do this. Burton still wanted to spend $300,000 on the study.

This is why Burton likens tearing up the easement area to the end zone of Taylor Field.

So many of us in the area hate that project. It's a huge expense through an area no one lives in so people can have quicker access to the golf course and different access to the south end. #NoToPrinceOfWalesExtension #Circus #yqrcc

We also need more people to vote.

Cutting through the end of protected conservation land to build a road is like going through the end zone of Taylor Field. It’s not going through the 50 yard line, so it’s okay.

Have you heard his Mosaic stadium analogy when talking about extending Prince of Wales through protected conservation land?

My property tax went up 35 percent this year, so yeah I’d be for that. I’m in Ward 4.

You know what drives up costs in Ward 4? When properties in Ward 3 and 6 decline in value, and taxes need to be adjusted elsewhere. Maybe we should fix that?

This was addressed by Wascana View Action Group and other residents at the Ward 4 meeting. No one but our councillor spoke for the expansion. Everyone else was against.

Here is the proposed construction area south of the Wascana Country Club. There are ZERO residents of #YQR who will live adjacent to this "street". The amount of property tax collection directly improved by this sort of construction is ZERO. It's 100% sprawl because only the gophers go there now.

His campaign was mostly about the traffic congestion on Arcola. Lawyer told councillor at the meeting that there is no legal way it can be built, but he still committed to the $300,000 study. No one spoke in favour.
