I saw Dave Barry at a festival and told him how I used to read his Sunday column outloud to my husband and we'd laugh until we couldn't breathe. I cracked open his book and to my surprise, he signed it "To Rita, a goddess." What a thrill! (though it's possible I called him a comedy god.)
