Moved to Canada 6 years ago, I still walk up to the front desk at the end of the appointment and stare at them, they stare back… until I awkwardly ask, “Do you need anything else from me?” More awkward staring until they tell me to leave. At least I don’t do it with my wallet in my hands anymore.
