While working on the next Corvidae Guard book, Night Blood Hunters, I realized in order to get the voices right, I need to skim The Void. I thought I could just dive back in, but I’m doubting myself because I’ve been out of this universe for a long time. The Void was published in 2023. 😳

Now that I’m Not Sorry is with my first beta reader, I’m starting to map out the next Corvidae Guard book. Yes, I use pencil because your girl makes loads of mistakes. We’ll see what happens with what I map out versus what the characters decide to do. 🫣

Every time I send a manuscript to my alpha reader, my insides tremble and I feel like I'm about to vomit. I've held on to I'm Not Sorry for a long time. No one has seen "B-Ash" but me. And now I must crawl into a hole for however long it takes for my alpha to rip her to bits.

Finished What Kind of Mother by Clay McLeod Chapman! This book goes from 0-unhinged in a blink but in a great way. I had to keep turning pages to learn more. There were a few times I was grossed out. 👀 But that’s horror for you! Fair warning, don’t eat while reading. 🫣 @claymcleod.bsky.social

Finished my reread of The Secret History. This story reads and hits differently the second time through. I loved it more. Donna Tartt is brilliant. It’s dark and disturbing. I picked out so many more clues about the characters. Not to mention the great scene descriptions. Such a great book! #books

Just finished Black River Orchard by @chuckwendig.bsky.social and wow! This story is WILD and, at times, gruesome. I loved the diverse characters. The storytelling is off the charts. People of the world! Get this book and devour it because I said so. Just be leery of evil apples. 🍎 #rubyslipper
