dragged myself out of bed today to go see Yoshida Chizuko's art on display. she did a lot of cool things with woodblock printing but i'm particularly blown away by her work with deep embossing

these meteors have been here since time immemorial. there's no sunlight because of the FUCKING TREES.

nothing edible has evolved. there's no preparation methods that can be used. all of these trees are just fine with absolutely no saplings making it out of the undergrowth i guess.

it's repeatedly shown that these motherfuckers apparently do not have seasoning, don't hunt/gather, just eat fish and najool and be sad until a sharlayan scientist comes to teach them agriculture

Bingo card for FFXIV fishing mishaps. I've slept through fish windows, forgot to use Makeshift Bait before hitting Mooch II, had insufficient gathering, used regular Hook under Patience II, used Powerful Hookset when the fish needed Precision, stood up and lost all my buffs, was reeling in too early the entire time, rested on the bite, and accidentally reeled in the wrong fish, along with the universal experience of the fish simply getting away.
