We gave it up in favor of Netflix. Streaming ruins everything that it touches, movies are shit now because Netflix, music is shit now because Spotify, gaming is shit now because Xbox gold/PlayStation Network/live service games...

hard to overstate how important it is to understand this.
The ‘fanbases’ of these guys don’t really like them. Not in the way a normal fan of something does, anyway. To Mark Kern’s audience, his appeal isn’t that he creates anything, because he doesn’t. It isn’t his insights, because he doesn’t have any. It is only by the flimsiest and most technical of margins does Mark Kern qualify as ‘sentient’. The appeal of Mark Kern - and again, all of these guys - is that they make people mad. They make their cultural enemies mad. The same is true of Andrew Tate, End Wokeness, or any of these other ghouls. Their fans are in it for the strife they cause with The Outgroup. This is why they constantly jockey amongst themselves for the position of Lead Creep, the one who is the best at being an annoying shitheel. They know that’s all that matters. Do you think any of these people pontificate about what their audience might be interested in? Try to balance their own interests with their audiences’? Try to edify anyone, about anything? Of course not.
