As a flight attendant who’s crossing the Atlantic 10 times a month I thank you for your service and your explanation. When we board that airplane our lives are in the hands of qualified ATC and pilots. Let’s hope that this tragic accident will be a wake up call for the new administration.

8/ good people out of the career field or not hiring new controllers because they’re black or female will not help. Nor will dangling buyouts to controllers and all the support staff that keep American aviation the safest in the world. Terrible, horrific tragedy. But luckily it is very rare. 💔
