I use these holders meant for children’s numbers and letters in classrooms. They were relatively cheap on Amazon and I altered the bottom piece so it could go to whatever width I needed

I went to Michael’s looking for thread cause I ran out of a color AND THEY HAD A WHOLE END-CAP OF THREAD!!! With a little sign that said “Michael’s x Joann’s” like some sort of highschooler who wrote on their notebook about their crush
