I see lots of British people there. Amazing that a tourist can recognise where people were born by walking past them. Or is this purely based on skin colour and clothing? And a heavily edited video.

It suffers from just being too nice I think. Most of the book is just about things going well and according to plan. The train journey to Uberwald is the best bit but it's a long time coming. I still quite enjoy the audio book though.

No, not really?

I can only log on to my local dairy website if I turn JavaScript off because I created the account with it turned off and bypassed their local length checks. The backend handles longer passwords fine (their limit was 12 chars though)

Maybe the website text box is max 127 chars? Maybe they thought they should put something for a max? Maybe they have done JS code to validate the password locally in plaintext and that has some limits.

They haven't sold it though? They're allowing the US government to use it for $1 for a year. Sounds like an introductory offer to me - they will decide they can't work without it and then the price will go up.

"Allow the police to request footage"... maybe just say no if you don't want to share it? I'm sure you can spin this all sorts of ways, but allowing police to see footage has plenty of legitimate and desirable uses as well.

So - pretty much like people then. We all have a hidden agenda, some of which may be in part controlled by the organisations we work for

What is neti pot?

As a smaller thing... A way to easily manage and disable/delete multiple devices or entities. I've ended up with a bunch of old devices which I no longer have closing up the devices dashboard. A "time since last contact" sort option would help with this

Would love to be able to have multiple Alexa accounts linked. For complicated reasons we have 3 in the house. We can have Alexa and Google - why not multiple Alexa?

No you aren't

I think this says more about what you had before then anything else. Multiple programs at once has been a thing for literally 30 years...

Buy a Brother laser printer. Connect it using wired ethernet cable. Stop moaning about printer issues - life's too short.

If it's running at 60fps and the video you're watching is at 24, 25 or 50 FPS then that could cause jumpiness.

ffmpeg can convert pretty much any format video to any other format video, and it's free. You'll have to learn some command line but just do some Google research

Brother laser is the correct answer. We have 2 now (black and white which won't die so we bought a colour one as well). This is the Verge's take on it

Best printer 2024, best printer for home use, office use, printing labels, printer for school, homework printer you are a printer we are all printers
After a full year of not thinking about printers, the best printer is still whatever random Brother laser printer that’s on sale.
