This was a fun analysis. We started out thinking blood RNA biomarkers of viral infection were likely to be correlated ++ as different dimensions of a common immune response (tinyurl.com/5ebfhsyj)

BUT the sampling resolution of human challenge helped us unravel the time course... IFI27 is unique ⬇️
