I called 5/6 nominations. I wasn’t brave enough to put both Silksong and Hades in the running as I thought there would only be one indie game in the running (outside of E33 which I see more as AA). Instead of Silksong I thought it was to be Ghosts of Yōtei for a Sony rep. I’m very pleased, however.

Alan Wake 2 was wild. It has led me down so many different rabbit holes and has me excited for whatever Remedy has in the works with Control 2.

I am very glad I played through Control before starting Alan Wake 2. Only about 3 hours in and I’m already very intrigued by all these different narrative threads they’re giving me.

Everyone raves about Hollow Knight and that makes me want to try it…. But Metroidvanias are not my thing at all.
