Technically, according to the U.S. Constitution, each U.S. state is a sovereign enity, and the Federal government only holds limited powers not assigned to the states. However, even that approach may run up against the opposition of Trump's Supreme Court.

Maybe the state governments of the three contiguous states on the U.S. West Coast can band together & revive the "States Rights" doctrine once used by the Southern states to resist Federal policies of desegregation, civil rights, & affirmative action.

For two weeks Trump has ruled by Executive Order. He's getting what he wants without one piece of legislation passed by Congress. What's to stop him from continuing to rule by Executive Order alone? How long will it be until the U.S. has its own Reichstag fire?

Trump is single-handedly renaming the world's natural landscape. Today it's the Gulf of Mexico renamed the Gulf of America. He's set a precedent for dictatorial decisions. Maybe next he'll rename the Atlantic Ocean the Trump Ocean, or the USA as the Empire of Trumplandia. Who will stop him?

The Federal bureaucracy is now being gutted by Trump's buddy Elon. He's not downsizing it to save money, he's purging it to install his own loyal political appointees who will be thankful to him for their jobs. This is exactly how Stalin came to power in 1928 & stayed in power the rest of his life.

At the Federal government level there seems to be no one able to stop him. There no longer are any checks & balances nor any seperation of powers. He personally controls every branch, department & institutiom of the U.S. Federal government in a way no other U.S. president ever has.

He's even personally taken over leadership of the Kennedy Center himself, so he can dictate the performing arts. The man is another Stalin.

The U S. is a nation of immigrants, but he wants to kick all non-White people out of the country, reportedly even the indigenous native Americans. Remember the "birther conspiracy" he used against Obama? He didn't want the U.S. to have a Black president.
