I may be totally wrong on this, so massive grain of salt, but I *think* a core principle is that a roguelite lets your carry some sort of progress forward (ie new abilities or unlocks), while a roguelike is a fresh start every time?

Absolum is so cool! I'm not generally a roguelite person either, but matching that style with a beat 'em up feels like a natural fit since it keeps things fresh between playthroughs. It'll be super interesting to see how the team updates the game going forward as well!

The world needs more Danny Lohner interpretations of various songs. All of his Renholder tracks and remixes in Underworld were incredible!

A movie shop near me uses some poster frames that may be SECO Snap Frames, and I guess it’s easy to swap posters in and out pretty quickly. If they’re as simple as they look, you could rotate posters out of a portfolio or flat file into frames without much effort!
