They have been doing exactly that for 100 years and were VOTED IN AGAIN in the majority, in House, Senate, and even as POTUS. They voted unanimously, AGAINST SS, Medicare, Medicaid, The 8 hour day, 40 hour week, time and a half for overtime, workers comp, health, retirement, FDIC, Etc, WE FORGET?
