I can't pretend that Marvel's (and DC's) increase in "corporate synergy" variant covers is anything other than gross, but a variant cover paying homage to New Mutants #50 might be beyond my ability to resist.

I've been looking forward to this one since it was first announced.. not to get my hopes up too high, ha, but I feel like this has the potential to be the first good & interesting ongoing about the New Gods since Kirby himself was writing and drawing it. Here's hoping 🤞

Finally found the last numbered issue I needed for my full New Mutants 1-86 + annuals & specials run... Huzzah! Just need to bite the bullet and shell out the money for Annual #2 and it's complete. All but 10-15 issues from dollar boxes as well!
