fics are actually what get me INTO characters and their world and pivot me into consuming more content, official and unofficial, which i assume for most people it tends to be the opposite haha;;

but studying anything else is either tedious or boring :/

though if there's particular artists or an artstyle u take inspiration from, definitely take notes from those styles and why the artists drew specific parts of their art in specific ways. ur understanding of perspective isn't weak tho with how u structured the hair and the shadows, very good start!!

ur understanding of shapes & lines are very solid and ur ideas are clearly executed! i think you could focus on studying perspective to understand where facial features tend to be positioned w/ respect to each other + how objects wrap around things by observing and drawing references or even urself-
