Every now and then, I think about what it is that I find brings me joy. One thing I find to be pretty consistent is a sense of freedom to be a bit of a goof every now and then. While I definitely am a more measured person most of the time, it's always fun to break out of that a bit.

I love Expedition 33 so far, but dear LORD those random animation slowdowns on some attacks feel more like a “haha gotcha” mechanic than a fair difficulty mechanic.
I can take long delay into fast swing. Long delay into fast swing that slows down before impact is pushing it.

I’ve been playing Witchfire for a while, and it’s an awesome shooter.
Amazingly creative weapons, satisfying progression, good performance, and the devs are very transparent about their decision-making in their Steam posts.

Witchfire is still in Early Access, and yet… We’ve just been named Best RPG Shooter by @thegamerweb.bsky.social in a roundup of the genre’s heavy hitters. Feels awesome - thanks for the love!

I had someone in my chat today notice that my tags indicated I'm Korean American, and they tried to ask me to say "you" in Korean.
I know what the intent behind that is, and I do NOT appreciate this in the slightest.

If they ever add Bazelgeuse to Wilds, I would love to see them just add it unannounced.

Honestly, one thing I really appreciate about Helldivers 2's setting is that any number of the silly weapon designs they have come up with could conceivably exist in universe.
The SEAF is irrational enough to greenlight any number of silly ideas, or at least hand them to Helldivers to test.
