One of my favorite memories is the evening I was walking across Sunset in 1985 or so, on my way to The Roxy (I think). Jack drove right in front of me in his little MBZ convertible. I shouted, “Hiya Jack!”, he turned around with that grin of his and waved. 😎

The Altadena fire was just a few miles north of me. The town is gone, almost. It traumatized me for a while. Friends lost homes.

As an American, I can say you are spot on. Our govt would happily see the majority of us suffer and die, esp the elderly and disabled. I’m glad I live in California, we are fighting hard against this bullshittery. Hurts my heart to see the UK on this path.

I just got my Covid jab at CVS. No interrogation. They were so nice. I cried afterwards because I actually had a good healthcare experience. It shouldn’t have to be this way.
