Italian director Luca Guadagnino's “After The Hunt,” starring Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri and Andrew Garfield, has been chosen to open the 27th edition of Festival do Rio. The Brazilian premiere will take place at the Cine Odeon, the traditional venue for Festival's Opening Gala

Counting down with just one month to go until the opening of the 27th Festival do Rio, Rio de Janeiro’s international film festival, that this year takes place between 2 and 12 October.

Festival do Rio 2025 will present over 120 new Brazilian productions in Première Brasil, including feature films and shorts.
