The final Denver INTHEWHALE show was the best I've ever seen them

I'm not sure if there's any scene news coverage yet, but Skold and Cleopatra posted the image of Tim and Kanye all over their official pages. Skold turned off comments. Cleopatra also recently partnered with Ted Nugent, and there's ofc this old support from them, post scandals

My page The Distressed Setlist is revoking all Skold related content. Fuck Tim, and fuck Cleopatra Records

Walked into the show with one, unsigned setlist. Left the show with these!

My ReView of the new genCAB record is live on ReGen

"It is easy for rerecorded material to be at best unwarranted, and at worst sound less captivating than the first attempt. Listeners can rest assured that this is far from the case on the newest endeavor from genCAB."

My ReView of the new Principe Valiente releases is live on ReGen.

"In This Light delivers 10 phenomenal songs whose sole letdown is that some of them feel too short… but, better to leave the audience wanting more than to overstay your welcome!"

"...the mood for rhythmic melancholy is set with electrifying dark pop beats and lyrics of lonely self-loathing and desperate survival."

"There is a heavy reliance on the sillier side of Halloween music in Allhallows – harpsichords, witchy cackles, the stoned hippie elf girl singing, and an overemphasis on church organs all distract from what could have been a truly good and fun post-punk record."

"... every track on this record stands out strongly not just among her best work, but also with the crème de la crème of electronic rock."

"The band may have come closest to breaking out with this latest album, obsYdian, with vastly improved production from 2020’s Addicted to Hell, bringing a clarity that gives every part of the music its due."

"'Cold Blooded' solidifies Young Medicine’s synthwave metal boyband sound consistently without trending too stale. It’s a high-spirited, vintage musical blast, with sufficiently depressing lyrics for the band’s Midwestern emo twist."

"[The Tower] urges the lister to continue through, however tattered their circumstances become, warning of the costs of losing self-reflection and integrity by exemplifying those virtues."

"The album delivers heavy and thrilling industrial onslaughts like “Religious Soldiers,” a more synth-heavy track with aggressive screaming, unsettling murky samples, and a refusal to stagnate."

"The White Light / Black Noise EP expresses across six tracks that Fake Youth Cult is maintaining the groove and sound Kruysdijk set out with at the project’s beginning."

"Tracks like "Control,” the exciting and futuristic first single from the album, and “No Time to Sleep” stand out as penetrating and mechanical works that could become earworms if one isn’t careful."

My ReView of Sea of Eyes/The Lamplighters EP by Pete International Airport is live on ReGen.

"Sea of Eyes is deceptively brisk for how methodical it is. The tracks all run smoothly, soothing in the background and dancing at the forefront."

My ReView of Straight Razor's Casualty:
"The artist utilizes numerous synth tones found in almost every project the genres encompasses, from Aesthetic Perfection to Zeromancer; still, the use of these sounds in Casualty is some of the best you could hope to encounter"

My Soul Extract Chasms ReView is live on ReGen. "Each track contains clean, catchy vocals from Mullins, subtle orchestral layers, additive minimal electronics that lead to cyberpunk-fueled breakdowns, and guitars that pull and crash in gravity wells of melodic strength."

My ReView of Clan of Xymox Exodus and Blood of Christ is live on ReGen "...the fast-paced and electronic-heavy title track of 'X-Odus' talks of modern warfare, taking a melody used by numerous EBM acts, from Orange Sector’s 'Farben' to Nitzer Ebb’s 'Control, I’m Here.'"
