Which is very fun! But many properties had tie-in Manga that weren't necessarily canonical (whatever canon is anyway). Another official Manga has her as a kinda dour, deeply traumatized orphan of violence.

I don't think I understand the angle of it, it really only came up in "Other M" and not much else besides, but now it's how they wanna portray her.
