I am hell-bent on the idea of a co-ed showcase at the NHL All-Star Game when the guys play a style similar to the women (high skill, low physicality) anyway. Would be a monumental opportunity. The ladies can absolutely hang with them. Decker, Coyne and Nurse already have.

Thank you. ♥️ I finished an MA and now teach at a university. I absolutely love(d) working in sports, but I realize in hindsight the whole career took its toll.

It has been an issue at least back to 2012. I was caught in layoffs at one major sports web site. When I signed on with another, I made $2k less than my starting salary at the former, no benefits. That was the end of full-time sports media for me.
