Understandable, but the reason is sensible: the more undos saved the more random consumption.
You can however increase the number of stored undos in settings! I tend to set mine to like 500 because otherwise I am always full of Regret.

every single image I've rendered on this account has So Many Rigging Issues hidden by carefully positioned camera angles lmao.
And on plenty of them I haven't even been able to hide all the clipping.
