Athletes - especially African American athletes - drive the success of college sports in red states where college football is a religion. They have enormous leverage.

Wouldn't it be great if the football team and staff stood with their African American colleagues and boycotted the national championship unless the dinner was restored? Fantasy, perhaps, but it's time to use the tools before us.
