The OU suffered most in 2012 after financing changed under the Tories - trebled their prices but still cheaper than bricks and mortar. Luckily I started my history degree in 2011 and kept grandfather rights. www.open.ac.uk/blogs/news/a...

If you are talking about the Open University, I would be surprised if they were too badly affected by the current funding crunch. They currently charge students less than the government cap, so have some wriggle room. And they don't rely on lucrative foreign students either.
