On a meta-level, one of the many horrifying things about this story is that the Atlantic had no reasonable option other than to release the Signal messages at this point.

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.
This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.
Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.
And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

My 2nd born is wearing the knees of every hand-me-down pant he's inherited. I remember seeing an artist who did the cutest embroidery critters as patches and, since I'm trying to shift toward repair, now is obviously the time to learn a new skill. I'm haunted by how much thread will go to waste.

I'm looking forward to volunteering at my local community garden when it gets warmer. I'm hoping to also take my boys to help. I learned that the bulk of the yield goes to support a local senior center.

UPDATE: The charges against her have been dropped “in the interest of justice” (she bit one of the brownshirts that assaulted her) and the private security firm has lost their license to operate. I hope she sues them into oblivion.

The way my baby kept me up all night thrashing because of teething and then has the audacity to be a cooing songbird in the morning as if nothing happened. Parenting is manic, absolutely rabid.
