I made a crochet toy filled with some leftover wadding and catnip, and Bonnet went absolutely bonkers over it. However, Flint kept trying to steal it, which resulted in Binnet picking it up and running away. This went on and on, so I ended up making him one, too.

Made Gale's earring today! I decided to test out a 3d pen I got on offer ages ago, and it worked pretty well! Added some silver gilding wax and chrome powder as finish. It's a bit bigger than I wanted it, but I'll probably either remake it later or commission @ihadra.bsky.social if I can afford it!

I'm really happy I made that choice, because the result turned out really nice, and now I have a pretty bag for it to live in! The leather was from a cream couch someone had thrown, and I dyed it with leather colour from my storage. Recycling ftw! 😊

Due to veterinary bills, my budget these days is very tight, but I figured that by making this myself, I'm saving at least £40 (as any real.leather alternative is at least that, if not mor, in the store), so I allowed myself to spend £10 on some proper padding for the inside and a new zipper.

Turned out I had jotted down the wrong measurements, and I had to scrap things and start over again. But at least I had the chance to improve some things.

Technically, my first cosplay was in kindergarten for a dress-up day. I loved the movie An American Tail and was determined to dress up as Fivel, so I pestered my mum into helping me make ears and find a big sweater. I already had the hat. It's one of my fondest childhood memories. 🥰

I got my new tablet today, and I love it so much! It's so lovely to be able to draw again and Ive missed it so much I immediately started working on a new D&D character!

Here is said cat, Captain Bonnet, in the first one I made. This one was very much a rushed project of around 20 minutes as he was wearing a nylon stocking as an emergency backup, and it was a little bit too tight, so I didn't want to make him wear it for longer than absolutely necessary.

When you still struggle with crafting related burnout, but one of your cats has gotten an infection in the wound after surgery, and needs to have their medical pet shirt changed more often than you can wash and dry the two that the vet gave you, so you start sewing them yourself.
