I effing LOVE 4th of July. Grilling hot dogs, parades, & especially the fireworks. Despite this country's faults & failures, I believe as Douglass did, as MLK did, as many fighting for a more just future, in the promise its founding documents make. A promise that is being shredded, which scares me.
