I tend to stick to using neutral pronouns when context allows. Proshippers DNI
Also, for posterity, just showing that the 2 OSTs got some playlisting love on US Apple Music, with one song from each getting a placement on the Latest Songs playlist that greets users as they enter the Browse tab!

Congrats to @vivziepop.bsky.social and team for ringing up 3 of the top 5 on Comedy Albums with the launch of the new Helluva Boss OSTs!

That house's interior design always struck me as tacky in a 70s sort of way (see also: the wallpapers in the upstairs hallway, dad's room, and the entry hall, plus the carpet on the upstairs and the exterior), so my guess was one of the parents was stuck on that look and never bothered to change it.

Also obligatory repost of that pop’n style art I did of them.

I do have a bone to pick with the menu layout for selecting charts: not only is there no indication of what's a year-end, what's a decade-end, and what's the weekly without looking at the URL, but the ordering's borked in certain places.

In the sense that they take over half of the top 10 of a year, yes, but they've still been a formidable presence every year since peak pandemic. They even got the top 2 of 2024 by a wide margin: both did over $600m in the US with 3 and 4 between $400m and $450m.

But it seems like the only actual point was the fan game thing (they don't explain anything in the post), and they just caved to the users because of the review bombing. Like, I'm looking at those happy at the decision (some pictured below), and they only mention that part.

We ended up having just about the same thoughts on Rick. It's something that I've always grappled with, but with how important Rick's work was for Al, it really highlights how common it is for not-great people to be involved with great pieces.

Eh, just this past year, they nabbed themselves a year-end hit on Rock radio with Honey (Are You Coming?). I guess I should've been clearer that when I say they were able to recede into the rock scene, I mainly meant they had institutional support for continued radio presence.

So, I just began prepping (quite belatedly) my April video and on the very first search needed...

It's like the universe really wants me to be fully ready for @tonygoldmark.bsky.social's next episode of @vaultdisneypod.bsky.social!

If you're too fast with your clicking/tapping, I could quite plausibly see that leading to accidentally selecting the follow button.

They had just made that Blue Impulse banner earlier that year (it debuted in SuperNOVA's localizations) and unlike Calico Cat Rock it didn't reference the old video files they weren't going to keep, so I guess that's why it stayed?...

Saw The Day The Earth Blew Up this weekend, had a wonderful time! There were several laugh-out-loud moments that both fortunately but also sadly didn't disturb anyone since I was the only one at the showing, but hey, at least the film's on track to do decently at the global box office!

At least with The Substance, Tony said this over on the other site in a reply, basically the movie as a whole he liked but it took a while to grapple with the inciting mindset of Elizabeth.

Anybody on here that cares about the Japan Hot 100? I keep track of the points songs earn on the chart (and estimate those not provided by the official site) to do running predictions of the year-end, and here's what I have so far!

Magic Johnson's placement is also a little odd (#3 peak, 9 weeks), but I get that its solid top 10 run under the dominance of Million Dollar Baby may have underrepped its standing.

I don't play many modern games, but one of my faves @commandersterling.bsky.social gave the game a glowing review and listed it amongst her favorites of the year, but those button levels were the one significant negative she wrote about, and it seems like it might be a consensus opinion.

[Insert "If I Had a Nickel" meme]
[Insert parameter "a song seemed to get removed out of the blue from DDR only to be returned mere months later"]

I knew it was coming, but with Apple Music doing their Replay promo, there was @samhaft.com abound! In addition to these slides, When I See Him played on the slide detailing my total minutes. Thanks for soundtracking these past few years, Sam!
