I just tried to delete my #academia dot edu, but it looks like in the process,I inadvertently accepted the new terms?Does that mean that even after I leave they can still use my face/content/voice etc? Also, how do we share our work with/find each other without becoming free content for AI training?

PSA: The only thing worse than today’s headlines is letting the newspaper’s AI demonic bot read them to you. I tried. I regret. Still recovering. Consider yourselves warned. You’re welcome.

Model integrates research, outreach & inquiry—adaptable to other institutions, including my current NAU! 🇵🇷 🏔️

#Academia rant: went looking for a gorgeous old paper I wanted to cite, only to find a newer one that basically plagiarized it. Guess which one people cite? 🙄
Publish-or-perish is no excuse. Cite your colleagues. Rescue invisible knowledge. Create with joy, not theft.
