While addressing the amount of missing, Kerr County manager, Dalton Rice, said victim families are getting fake calls told to pay for their children.

The number of missing is unknown.

#TexasFloods 59 people are confirmed dead as of 10 am CST, according to Kerr County Sheriff. Of them 21 are children. 11 girls from Camp Mystic and 1 counselor remain unaccounted. The search efforts continue with over 400 first responders from 20 different agencies

As the death toll rises, the highest elected official in Kerr County - the judge - says it’s time for recovery efforts. “That’s going to be a long toilsome task.”

At least 32 are dead. Over 850 people have been rescued. More than 500 first responders are in the region.

The Spring Branch ISD Police Chief is sharing more information after two teenage girls were arrested in a plot to harm students at Memorial High School using guns and pipe bombs.
