Last year's Ciderfest was "Fall Festival". Since Sunset's palette matches autumn leaves, of course I had to do something. Using a thrift store dress as a pattern and discovering Bernadette Banner on YouTube, I made this outfit, which ended up winning the intermediate category in the cosplay contest!

In 2021 I commissioned a Sunset Shimmer steampunk ballgown from Madame Huffen-Bustle to wear at convention galas. By this time I'd earned enough money for the $750 cost, and it's so worth it. Here's a picture of me with @cracklescousin.bsky.social at last year's Ciderfest.

My profile image is from Ponyvile Ciderfest 2018. That weekend I met Rebecca Shoichet, the va for my favorite MLP character Sunset Shimmer, who I'm dressed as. It's also the first time I dressed in drag, leading to cosplay and drag opportunities I hadn't considered before.
