Even in terms of human extremes it falls over. 100°F is about 37°C, which is uncomfortable but not fatal. At the other end of the scale, 0°F is -17°C. People regularly die of exposure at temperatures far above that. Just a big dumb non-serious argument from the land of big dumb non-serious units
