With Bryna and my eldest out of town, I got to take some time off and do four straight days of daddy-daughter fun. It was a hoot!

With Bryna and my eldest out of town, I got to take some time off and do four straight days of daddy-daughter fun. It was a hoot!

There is plenty of scary stuff going on right now - but in the spirit of “think global, act local”, the Irene Reither elementary PTA is putting out these banners during student pick up and drop off.
That way it is crystal clear that ALL families are welcome at our school .

My incredible kiddo turns eight today! His world is one of laughter and adventure, and I'm so proud of him. All elbows and knees, he is full of minecraft lore and mischief, kindness and imagination, monsters and snacks. Happy birthday dude!

For my birthday this summer, I wanted to try my hand at using a woodfired pizza oven, with the goal of having all my friends over and serving them delicious pies. I’m happy to report the maiden voyage of the Flaming Sweeney (tm) was a success!

Just finished coordinating the end of year celebration for my son’s school. Lots of work, but hearing the kids laugh all day long makes it worth it.
