The Petaluma "River" — a tidal slough that connects to the rest of the Bay, renamed at one point to avail us of ACE funding and support for dredging — goes right through downtown and is an absolute delight to kayak on or dine alongside. And the birds it brings! Oh, so many birds 🥰

A brief video of Petaluma's 4th annual Holiday Lighted Bike Ride!
It was so fun seeing all the creativity people put into their bikes and costumes, and watching as folks who live along the route wandered outside to see the commotion and share in good cheer.
Maybe next year they'll join the ride!
